Soundgarden were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Los Angeles, with Jim Carrey giving the induction speech and Lily Cornell Silver speaking for her father, Chris Cornell. Matt Cameron, Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd and Hiro Yamamoto then played “Rusty Cage” and “Black Hole Sun” with Taylor Momsen, Mike McCready, Brandi Carlile and Jerry Cantrell. The night made Matt a two-time inductee, after going in with Pearl Jam in 2017.
